Description
This piece narrates my experience of adoption. One of my biggest loss was the feeling of love. I yearn for it, but at the same time it terrifies me.
I was never able to experience it when I was younger, but as I have grown older, I have learned more about love, and even felt a little part of it.
Pieces of my heart have felt like they were detached, but as time passes by, I feel like my heart is slowly being restored.

The feeling of love is such a broad topic... Desire is much more specific. The glowing red gem... something that threatens crystalization? Or the hope of bringing in something miraculously new and reviving?
